Nikolai lit his cigarette, then Vince’s, sat back in his chair and took a drag. “So tell me about Sarah Stevens.” He waited.

The hair on the back of Vince’s neck bristled.

Vince grinned. “What? No tour of the house? No let’s have a drink and chat?”

Nikolai frowned. He didn’t seem to want any of Vince’s smalltalk. He wanted information and he wanted it yesterday.

Okay, time to tap dance.

“Not much to tell. I think she’s a student at the University in Las Vegas. She’s big on the party circuit.”
