Yesterday at 6:02 PM, I submitted Frozen Hell, the first story in the Seven Souls a Leaping anthology I’m doing with K.F. Zuzulo and Heather Long. Due to some nearly overwhelming real-life issues I pushed this submission (which I already had a contract for) right up to the deadline. “Scary” doesn’t even begin to come close to the deadline situation as I typed like crazy yesterday afternoon! I never, never, ever want to have to do a white-knuckle submission again!
Now it is NaNoWriMo and I’m always excited to play along with all the other NaNos to pack in 50,000 words in a single month. Instead of a new story this year, I’m adding 50,000 words to a the current manuscript for Stealing Liberties, the fourth book in the Task Force 125 series. The storylines in this one are more complicated and require more depth than previous Sarah Stevens stories. I expect that this one may end up, after editing, to be as long or longer than The Path to Freedom. (Look for word count updates coming on this project all month!)

Congrats on getting the submission done- good luck with NaNoWriMo- good idea to add to your current WIP
Thanks, Maria!
I always hate it when real life interferes with fun. Seriously, I hope that all of the issues are or will be resolved the best possible way, whatever that is. I LOVE your stories!!
Thank you very much, Jonathan!
