The Expendables: Will Bolo Yeung Finally Kick Van Damme's Ass? http://wp.me/p4hGmz-y4

According to Sylvester Stallone’s website (http://sylvesterstallone.com/), Sylvester Stallone will not be directing or writing The Expendables‘ second movie.  For those of you who have been under a rock, The Expendables had a $70 million budget and earned over $275 million at the box office.  The all-star cast included Stallone and his two business partners from Planet Hollywood, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger, as well as some of my favorite fantasy fodder like Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, and Mickey Rourke.  Other stars included Randy Couture, Steve Austin, Terry Crews, Eric Roberts and the amazing Jet Li.

Sly wrote, directed and starred in The Expendables.  When you find out Sly is writing, directing and starring in a movie, it’s time to ring the bell because that fight has been won.  All that’s left is to choose your seat and watch the magic unfold. The Expendables: Will Bolo Yeung Finally Kick Van Damme's Ass? http://wp.me/p4hGmz-y4

The good news is that the sequel is in development.   What puts me on edge is one of the writers, Ken Kaufman, is the man who wrote Muppets From Space.  The other, David Agosto, is a complete unknown.  Rumor has it that all the original Expendables as well as Arnold & Bruce have signed on.  One really good rumor has it that Bolo Yeung, The Chinese Hercules, has signed on for this one!  It looks like Jean Claude Van Damme is finally going to join the party too.
A little side note about Jean Claude -He was approached by Stallone to be in the original Expendables.
“Stallone gave me a part in his next movie. But I ask him about the subject, about the story.” Van Damme tells the magazine. “He said, ‘You’re gonna make lots of money.’ I don’t want to hear that, I want to hear what was my character. He was unable to tell what it’s going to be.”
[Stallone said:] ‘You know, uh, well, the fighting will be good.’
[So I said:] ‘Sly, what is my character?’ So I didn’t do the movie.” the actor further points out.
Think about it.

Sylvester Stallone is making movies and working projects all over the place, rolling in super success.
Van Damme’s career has been in an uncontrollable nosedive since the 1990’s.  The guy was even fired from the movie Predator!  Sly gave him a shot to pull up but did he take it?  No.
If Van Damme is in The Expendables 2, I hope Bolo kicks his ass.
This is just my opinion, but if Sly asked me if I wanted to be in one of his movies, I don’t care if I’d be cast to hold some has-been fighter’s spit bucket – I’M IN!
If you like action, buy The Expendables.  I guarantee you’ll want to watch it over and over!
If you’ve already seen The Expendables, you could try reading The Path to Freedom.

The Expendables

Sylvester Stallone scored a massive box office coup last year with The Expendables ($275m+), the action movie that featured an all-hero ensemble cast including Stallone, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren and Steve Austin.

Stallone was the creative force behind the original: writing, directing and starring in the picture. But Sly isn’t planning on helming the sequel, which is currently in development. A script has already been produced by writing team Ken Kaufman and David Agosta and Stallone is currently meeting with potential directors for the film.
