I just received my first email from Jonathan Acosta of Get Sexy San Antonio. He’s willing to train me.
I’m a little nervous about putting myself out there, I mean really out there with before photos, measurements, weight, bodyfat, diet and workouts but it has to be done. Not only do I need to do this for myself but there’s a whole generation of forty-somethings out here in San Antonio who believe it is time to start being old. That’s the sort of mindset SAXtreme intends to fight.
I’m a 44 year old woman, recently divorced, who used to weigh 225lbs. That’s some scary stuff.
The scariest part is I’m not the only one. There are plenty of people my age who are overweight and just don’t know how to turn it around. I’m not dead yet so I’ll be damned if I give up on living the best life I can. That’s what this is all about. Fixing what’s wrong and making your life right.
Being fit to live life to the Xtreme!
I’m starting out at 5’10”, weighing 175lbs and having 34% bodyfat (that’s 60 pounds of fat on my body – SIXTY).
My short term goal: Weigh 155 with 20% Bodyfat (that means gaining 10lbs of muscle and losing 30lbs of fat).
Long term goal: Compete in the 2012 Lackland Classic in the Women’s Figure Masters 45+ Division at about 145lbs and 10% Bodyfat (that means gaining a total of 15lbs of muscle and losing 45lbs of fat. I will not look anything like who I am today and that’s the whole point, a complete transformation.)
By committing publicly to compete in the Lackland Classic, I’m holding myself accountable and allowing the entire city of San Antonio to hold me accountable. I hate public humiliation. I hate private humiliation for that matter. Failure is no longer an option. I’m doing this and I only have one year.
Are you ready to see an Xtreme transformation?
