Holding Steady and Anxious to Exercise
I weighed in at 171.0 today. Yesterday was a .4, the day before a .8. This tells me my metabolism has slowed to meet my caloric intake. Funny how the body can adjust to everything so efficiently, huh?
So today I started the day with whey protein and some coffee. I just had a lunch of fajita beef, peppers and onions with a little mozzarella to dress it up so I could pretend it was a cheesesteak sandwich. I still miss bread. Life’s stresses haven’t let up much so I’m fighting the urge to self-medicate with something fluffy & starchy.
I did a half-hour of easy biking today while getting some work done on my computer. Tonight I get back to boot camp! Hopefully the extra activity will get me past this plateau.
Courtney West of Houston is my inspiration for today. Thanks, Courtney!
