You are giving me the motivation to get off my ass and do something about my weight, I hit 185 a few years ago, down to about where your at.  Keep up the motivation for me!!

Every once in a while, I’ll get a private message through email, text or Facebook along the same lines as this one I received last night.  THIS is the kind of stuff that keeps ME going!  If you’re getting anything good from my blogs here, please feel free to let me know.  I won’t quote you or use your name without permission but just knowing that somebody out there besides John is reading my posts motivates me to stay on track.

For those of you who have written me with positive news about your own efforts, thank you from the bottom of my heart!  I love every one of you for it!

I made the most of my workout last night and came home exhausted, feeling like I’d done something really good for myself.  Immediately after boot camp, I had a croissant and a protein shake.  (Starch is OK after a workout because your body needs to restore the glycogen in the muscles so they can recover.)  Later, at home, I had a bowl of steamed French cut green beans with almonds.  Yummy!

I weighed in at 172 this morning so, apparently, the cookies bit back.  I have a headache which can only mean I’m dehydrated so I’m going to make a point of drinking more water today and see what happens.
