Lisa Pietsch is a U.S.A.F. veteran, a multi-published novelist and freelance writer, a social media marketing consultant, has been the managing editor for five content rich online communities and several online and print newsletters, is the Co-Founder and Managing Editor of SAXtreme Magazine (www.saxtreme.com), and the mother of two boys. She has a degree in Business Management from the University of Maine and has been immersed in social media marketing for the past eight years. She has a passion for foreign languages, travel and hot guys with guns as evidenced by her bestselling Task Force 125 series. Lisa currently lives in the Hill Country north of San Antonio, Texas.
When her first novel, The Path to Freedom, was published in electronic formats in 2008, Lisa realized her marketing efforts would need to take a left turn at traditional and become largely electronic as well. Since then, she has developed tools and handbooks that teach authors and small press publishers how to market their books and their brands without breaking the bank. The class will be online (via Yahoo Group) with a short reading and homework assignment emailed to you each morning (Monday through Friday). Plan on allowing 30 minutes to do the homework at some point during your day. If you miss a day’s homework, you can catch up the next day or on the weekend. This class will cover both basic and advanced social media so whether you’re just getting started or you’re an old pro, you’re guaranteed to learn something new.
