tequila aficionado, lisa pietschA friend of mine asked me this one day.

I figured if one was asking, several were probably wondering the same thing.  The fact is, I’m a big fan of tequila.

avion, tequila, lisa pietschNo, not Jose Cuervo, Sauza, or Patron, so don’t start posting that piss all over my Facebook wall.

I mean real tequila.  The finely crafted agave spirits that often don’t make it to the big box stores and chain liquor stores.

That love of tequila is what led to my partnering with Alex Perez and Mike Morales at Tequila Aficionado.  It’s been about a year now that the three of us have been working together and it has been great!  We all love what we do at Tequila Aficionado and look forward to many years of doing more of it.  One of the key elements of our work at Tequila Aficionado is expanding drinkers’ knowledge and understanding of tequila.

cabo wabo, tequila, lisa pietschHere’s a little tidbit for you:  Did you know that if you drink tequila made with 100% Blue Agave straight, you won’t have a hangover the next day?

You may have some regrets if you shoot it because you’ll sure as hell get drunk, but you won’t have a hangover.

My advice: sip it straight like I do.  Nurse a couple glasses of it, enjoy the buzz and wake up feeling fine in the morning.

Trust me.  I’m a professional.

So, yeah, I’m into tequila.  I have a couple drinks a week, never in excess because I only drink the good stuff – and you never want to waste that!
