If you’re like me and follow everyone who follows you on Twitter then eventually you’re either going to limit the people you follow (while pissing off the ones you don’t) or you’ll start using Twitter lists like a champ. Not sure how to use Twitter lists yet? You’re in luck.
A Twitter list is a limited list of Twitter users that you follow. You can create your own lists to cut down on your Twitter stream volume or you can subscribe to lists that other Twitter users create. Viewing a Twitter stream for a list makes authentic interaction much easier as it shows you only the Tweets of people on that list. You should understand that lists are not closed groups and you can’t simply send a directed Tweet just to members of the list. All your Tweets are public unless you’re sending private messages.
