*I plan to continue doing these 24 Day Challenges until I reach my goal.  I’d love you to join me on the next one, whether you use Advocare products or not.  We’ll have our own private group on the Advocare 24 Day Challenge app (also available for iThings) to support each other every day.  Transformation, or even a little change, is so much easier with a friend.  Please join me?

Pack a Lunch

That’s the best advice I can give anyone who is trying to transform their body: PACK A LUNCH.  It doesn’t matter if you’re just going to WalMart for a few things or going to get an oil change.  PACK A FRICKING LUNCH!

I had an Advocare meal replacement shake (chocolate) for breakfast yesterday and then toddled off in the Jeep to get an oil change.  I had a bag of peanuts in my purse just in case it took longer than an hour.  My plan was to stop for groceries on the way back and pick up a pizza for the guys’ dinner.

As it happens, the Jeep needed more than an oil change – it needed new brakes.

Hours later, I drove out of the dealership, anxious to get my errands done, get home, and eat something healthy.  First, the grocery store.  I picked up lots of healthy groceries but started feeling the effects of low blood sugar at the check out.

Must get home.

Must get home.

I loaded the groceries into the Jeep and (here’s where it gets weird) instead of grabbing a banana from the bunch I just bought, I got into the driver’s seat and headed toward Little Caesar’s for the boys’ pizza.  That’s the thing about hypoglycemia…you don’t think so clearly.  I should have eaten one of those bananas.

I drove through, bought the pizza and Italian cheese bread, and then scarfed down a slice of cheese bread so I could get home.  I was THAT faint.

lunchboxWhen I arrived home, I was shaking and so out of it I had forgotten there were groceries in the car.  (It’s a good thing the troops were mobilized and ran out to unload it or that ice cream of theirs would have been a goner.)

I made up for it with a dinner of two hamburgers with tomatoes on Ezekiel bread (I only finished one and a half) but I was still too beat at the end of the day to get on the bike.  I skipped my workout.

Today, on day 13 of my Advocare 24 Day Challenge, I weighed in at 184 again – which I think is awesome after the weirdness of yesterday.  I’ve learned my lesson though.  Today I’m buying a lunchbox.

I WILL ALWAYS PACK A LUNCH!

I Need Buddies!

When I’m done with this first #24DC, I plan to keep on going! I’d love you to join me, whether you use Advocare products or not.  We’ll have our own private group on the Advocare 24 Day Challenge app (also available for iThings) to keep each other on track every day.  Fitness is always easier with a buddy so who’s in?  Please leave a comment below or email me privately at Lisa@LisaPietsch.com if you’re ready to make a change with me.
