For those catching up, I’m doing the Advocare 24 Day Challenge.  I started out at 187lbs and 38% bodyfat and I’m keeping track of my progress and staying accountable through blogging.  If you’re just following, thank you for keeping me accountable.  If you’d like to join me, I’d love to have the company!

Today I weighed in at 185 and 38% bodyfat.

That’s down from 187 and 38% (which equates to a loss of 2lbs and a little over 1lb of that was bodyfat).  It’s only been 1 day.

I took the supplements as scheduled and ate according to the plan yesterday.

My 45 minutes of cruising on the recumbent bike at the YMCA was very little hassle.

All in all, I have to say dropping those first two pounds was quite painless.

My biggest challenge so far is trying to keep my meals spaced evenly throughout the day.  I wake up at 9am but my darling companion and I don’t eat dinner until about 9pm.  Three meals and three snacks should be easy in twelve hours, right?  It’s only Day #2.  I’ll get a routine down before I’ve finished the first week.  That’s the only adjustment I’m having to make though.

Conventional wisdom tells me I should be working harder for this, but I know that optimal supplementation that fills in the nutritional gaps can give anyone an edge.
