*Spoiler Alert* Task Force 125 and Where We Go From Stealing Liberties
As I was writing Stealing Liberties (Task Force 125, Book #4), I had to be true to what the characters needed. Vince wanted a domestic, family-loving housewife and lots of kids – and found that in Sveta at the end of this “episode” in the overall story. Sarah wanted action, adventure and a man who could live that life AND be her lover. She and Jay were well matched that way. Sarah and Vince had different needs at the time and I felt writing them apart but happy with the lovers they wanted was the only way to be true to them. Anything else would have been too contrived. They both got what readers should have understood as a happy ending, though not the traditional sort they might expect.
In Kissing the Frogman (Book #5), you’ll see a little bit of Sarah & Jay and Vince & Sveta as they continue their respective missions, but the main story is about Brian and a special mission he and Jason take on.
In Ballantine’s Day (Book #6), you’ll get a glimpse into Tracy’s first mission with her own team. Readers may remember Tracy as the bold-as-brass blonde in The Path to Freedom who trained with Sarah at The Camp.
If you stick with Task Force 125 long enough, you’ll see upcoming individual stories centered on Jason, Chris, Will and Rig, as well as 3 more stories about the whole American Swift team.
Tomorrow I’ll tell you a little about a Romantic Comedy I have planned after Kissing the Frogman and Ballantine’s Day.
Thanks so much for reading this far!
