stealing liberties, lisa pietsch, sarah stevens, task force 125, kissing the frogman, ballantine's dayA few readers left me over the ending of Stealing Liberties, so if you’ve stuck around long enough to read this, thank you!  I’ll try to make it worth your while.

As I was writing Stealing Liberties (Task Force 125, Book #4), I had to be true to what the characters needed.  Vince wanted a domestic, family-loving housewife and lots of kids – and found that in Sveta at the end of this “episode” in the overall story.  Sarah wanted action, adventure and a man who could live that life AND be her lover.  She and Jay were well matched that way.  Sarah and Vince had different needs at the time and I felt writing them apart but happy with the lovers they wanted was the only way to be true to them.  Anything else would have been too contrived.  They both got what readers should have understood as a happy ending, though not the traditional sort they might expect.

In Ballantine’s Day (Book #6), you’ll get a glimpse into Tracy’s first mission with her own team.  Readers may remember Tracy as the bold-as-brass blonde in The Path to Freedom who trained with Sarah at The Camp.

Tomorrow I’ll tell you a little about a Romantic Comedy I have planned after Kissing the Frogman and Ballantine’s Day.
Thanks so much for reading this far!
