I’ll be honest, when my friend Emma suggested Brock O’Hurn for my Hot Guys series, I had to look him up.

Apparently, he was not in a blockbuster movie as some buff barbarian (but he could be) and he wasn’t in a shampoo commercial (which you might expect given the state of his hair).  As it happens, he’s just a hot guy who used Instagram the right way and made himself a brand.

Having grown up with Emma, I can see the attraction.  She too has beautiful eyes and lovely hair.  In an alternate universe, where she was born a little later and he was born a little earlier, she and Brock are making beautiful babies.

He had about 10,000 followers on Instagram, and 300 on Facebook, and then he made a video where he put his long hair in a bun, and uploaded it to Facebook. (There’s music playing and it’s all very sexual, and it lit the Internet on fire. You can see it here.) By the end of that month, he had 300,000 Instagram followers—today, he has 1.7 million. That’s it. End of story.

Until next time 🌅

My Hot Guys blogs began with Hot Guys with Guns when I was blogging inspiration for my Task Force 125 novels.  That was way back when Facebook and Twitter were only two years old and MySpace ruled the social web.  Look for more Hot Guys in Tee Shirts coming soon to steam up your imaginings.
