This particular one is very long and likely to be longer than The Path to Freedom. It is actually two stories in one that can’t really be divided. I’m working on edits this weekend and hope to have the whole thing finished and ready for readers for a May/June release.

I definitely would be – and think that the backdrop you created would definitely be open to further exploitation! either by picking up the other characters, or through further developing the science/magic themes.

It is in the works, and I recently posted a blog about finding an editor for it. Unfortunately I just don’t have a firm date yet.
I’m just wondering if you have updated the time frame for Stealing Liberties. I LOVE the first three, well four books. I have been checking your website at least once a week for any updates. I see that you are crazy busy and that this one book is really important to you, so you want to get it exactly right. PLEASE any info would be great. I feel like I’m waiting for my next fix or something. You are one of the few authors that I am following along with Connie Suttle, Patricia Briggs, and a few others. Also, one quick question. I read that Will is married and that his wife is at his horse ranch, but at the beginning of the series everyone is single or becoming single. Can you clarify this for me. Thanks, and you are an amazing author.
It will likely be a few more months. I’m really hoping for a Christmas release at this point.
In answer to your question: Technically, Will IS single. He’s divorced. He and his ex wife are the exception to the rule though as they’ve been having a long-distance love affair ever since they divorced. Will is one of those rare solid kinds of guys who can control himself and stay true to his lover. Sure, he flirts a little but it is harmless and never goes any further than that. He is very focused on the mission and having his ex wife/lover living incognito in South America allows him to not have to worry about her safety should anything ever happen to him on a mission.
His ex wife is quite a woman. I may play with a story for her someday if I ever find the time.

Sarah’s Summer was meant to be a free short to cover the interim between The Path to Freedom and A Taste of Liberty. I had originally intended to write/provide free shorts between books so readers could get glimpses of what the team does between missions.
I tried to offer it free through Amazon but they don’t allow that. The lowest price I could offer at Amazon was 99 cents, so I did offer it at 99 cents for a short while until readers complained that it was too short and not worth paying for because of the length.

Lisa, l have just finished all 4 of the Task Force and I am hooked!! I have to tell you my heart broke when Sarah and Vince split up and even though I like Jay there is a part of me that still wants things to work out down the line with Vince, I know he is going to have a baby with another woman but I just don’t want theit story to end!! You are an absolutely bad ass writer. I read all four of your Task Force books in less than a week. I work too at a prison and I would come home, take care of dinner, etc., then sit and read and read and read. I simply can not wait until “Chasing Freedom ” comes out. You are going to have to be on your toes to outdo this series. Your books have all the elements required to be AWSOME. Hurry up and get those other three books out.

I cannot tell you how much I LOVE the Task Force 125 series – I just purchased the 4th book and am hooked! I also am ex-military (USAF) and former law enforcement (civilian). I love a good romance, but I cannot ever find books with the romance element that has a kick-butt heroine. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, for writing this series and know that I cannot wait for the others to be released also! You rock!

Sarah’s Summer is a short that I just don’t feel right charging people for since it was just my way of kicking back with the characters and letting them have a little fun between missions. I’d like to do more of these short between-mission mini-stories but I’m not sure how readers would receive them. Please let me know what you think about that idea after you read it?
I enjoyed Sarah’s Summer…especially Ruthie…I think it would be a good idea to continue doing the mini stories cuz it gives a little more details into the characters and what they are doing in their down time…also it gives the readers something to read in between your books…great work…ur seriously one of the best…when do u think ur gonna release ur next book in the series?.
